Abhijeet Bhattacharya booked for abusing women journalists

A police complaint filed against Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya for abusing women Journalists in Mumbai. According to media reports, after the Twitter war broke out between Abhijeet and two women journalists, he abused them and wrote ridiculous comments. One of the journalists is an editor of a web portal. Police have assured strict action against him.

Few days before Abhijeet Bhattacharya tweeted stating Chennai Infosys Employee ‘Swati’ Murder as a case of Love-Jihad. After this, he became the target of some social media users along with two women Journalists of Delhi and Mumbai.

One of the Journalists wrote to Abhijeet, “He is being jealous of Pakistani’s becoming Indians because he cannot find work.” On Sunday Journalist wrote, “Singers are known for their negative thinking. They want to spoil the mood by telling this case as Love-Jihad. Swati and his murder accused are of same religion, so how this can be a case of Love-Jihad.”

In his response. Abhijeet Bhattacharya wrote, “Journalists wrote embarrassing things for me, I just reacted. I am not a politician and not supposed to think so much before writing anything.”

Earlier, Abhijeet also posted embarrassing tweets after Salman Khan sentenced over the Hit-and-run case. Abhijeet Bhattacharya tweeted, “The dog sleeping on the street will die the death of the dog, the roads do not belong to the father of poor. I was homeless for a year but never slept on the street.”

His second tweet was, “Please Support Being Salman Khan. Roads are not meant for sleeping; there is no fault of driver and alcohol.”

He also wrote, “Suicide is a crime and sleeping on pavement is also a crime. Fond of sleeping on the Mumbai’s sidewalk? Why don’t you sleep in your village”?
