Mukesh Bhatt, President of the Film and Television Producers Guild of India has met Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday morning. Rajnath Singh has assured Mahesh Bhatt a safe release of the film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil on October 28, 2016. The film is getting released two days before the festival of Diwali.
Earlier there was uncertainty over the release date of the film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. Rajnath Singh has promised the Bollywood fraternity that they will have a great Diwali.
According to the source, Karan Johar has skipped the meeting as he (Karan) is busy with the post-production of the film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ in Mumbai.
Mukesh Bhatt, along with politician and singer Babul Supriyo, met Home Minister Rajnath Singh for security amid vandalism threats from the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS).
MNS is against the release of the movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ as it features Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.
Further, Bhatt has said that we are entertainers. We are interested in working with the artists, who can entertain the audience. Bhatt has said we do not give importance to whether they belong to Africa, china or Pakistan.
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena had refused to change their stance. Even Karan Johar has shared a video message saying that he will not work with talent from Pakistan in the future.
Politician and singer Babul Supriyo have said that we request Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) to let the film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, which has been made to get released without any problem as a lot of money has been put behind it by our producers Karan Johar.
Further, Babul Supriyo has said that we won’t let any Pakistani artists to work in our nation, until the time everything get normal, the situation gets improves.
Karan Johar’s movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ has become the first target after Uri Attack. September 18Uri attack has killed 19 Indian soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir. The surgical attack was conducted by India across LoC.
The film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ stars Ranbir Kapoor, Fawad Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma. Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan will be seen as a cameo in the film.
