The Forbes India annual list of top 100 celebrities is out. Salman Khan has left behind top celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan and Rajinikanth. Salman Khan with his film ‘Sultan’ has ruled the year 2016.
Aamir Khan’s film ‘Dangal’ might break the record of Salman’s ‘Sultan’ on box office, but Salman has already left Aamir behind in one aspect. The list of Forbes has ranked the 100 top individuals in the country in terms of earning and fame.
In the last year of Forbes list, Salman was in the second position behind Shah Rukh Khan. However, in the current year, Salman has claimed the top position with his blockbuster film ‘Sultan’.
Aamir Khan has failed to make his place in the slot of Top 10. Aamir is in the 14th position. Aamir was also beaten by Comedian Kapil Sharma who is in the 11th position and AR Rahman is at 13th slot.
There are only two female actresses who have made the place in Top 10 i.e. Deepika Padukone (6) and Priyanka Chopra (8).
Both the acctress, Deepika and Priyanka are above the stars like Amitabh Bachchan who is at 9th position and Hrithik Roshan who is at the 10th position.
Akshay Kumar has given four hits in this year and is at 4th position with total earning of Rs 203.3 crores.
Other celebrities who are in the top 10 position are – Virat Kohli at 3rd position, Mahendra Singh Dhoni at 5th slot and Sachin Tendulkar who is in the 7th position.
Total earning of Salman Khan is Rs 270.33 crores which are compared to Shah Rukh Khan’s total earning of Rs 221.75 crores this year.
Rajnikanth is at the 30th position who have given a blockbuster ‘Kabali’ this year. Ranveer Singh is at the 12th position with total earning of Rs 67.42 crores. 19th slot is taken by Ranbir Kapoor. Whereas, Madhuri Dixit is in 22nd position.
Jacqueline Fernandez is at 24th slot and Katrina Kaif is at 25th position in the list. On the other hand, Deepika, Priyanka and Sonakshi are the only actress in top 20.
