Dangal First Week Box Office Collection Report: Even after demonetization Aamir Khan’s film ‘Dangal’ has received an overwhelming response at the box-office. The film has set a new benchmark. Dangal first week box office collection crosses 100 crore.
Nitesh Tiwari directed film ‘Dangal’ starrer – Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra and Sakshi Tanwar is a sports drama film which has crossed the collection of Rs 100 crore in just three days.
‘Dangal’ is a biopic on senior Olympic coach and Indian Wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat. Mahavir Singh Phogat had hoped to win the gold medal for India. He has trained his daughters Babita and Geeta in the sports. In 2010 Commonwealth Games finally, Geeta has fulfilled the dream of Mahavir Singh Phogat.
Dangal First Week Box Office Collection Report
On Friday the film ‘Dangal’ has earned 29.78 crores. On Saturday, the collection of the film was Rs 34.82 crore and on Sunday the film has earned Rs 42.35 crores. Dangal first week box office collection made it a huge success.
The film is getting lots of love from the audience. With ‘Dangal’, now five films of Aamir Khan is in the club of Rs 100 crore.
Ghajini (2008), 3 Idiots (2009), Dhoom 3 (2013), PK (2014) and now Dangal (2016). With a first day collection after ‘Sultan’, ‘Dangal’ has the second highest opening day collection.
Aamir Khan’s film ‘Dangal’ in Australia has become the first Hindi film with the highest opening collection.
Recently, Uttarakhand and Haryana government has announced that ‘Dangal’ is tax-free in the state. The film has been made tax free while keeping in view the promotion of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ program. Earlier, the film was given tax exemption by Uttar Pradesh government.
Recently, Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan was seen on Koffee With Karan. Aamir was accompanied by his onscreen ‘Dangal’ daughters.
All the three were seen promoting their movie on the chat show Koffee With Karan.
In the show, there was a confession made by Aamir. Aamir has said that is the very emotional person. He has said that for the first time when he had seen the trailer tears were there in his eyes.
Earlier, Aamir has said that he will not promote ‘Dangal’ on TV shows. Further, the 50-year-old actor has said he will promote his movie on television but not on TV shows. Aamir has added that television is an important source for us. The actor has said that I have a different logic.
