The first list for the computerized draw of EWS/DG Admission Result 2018-19 will be declared on 7th of March 2018. The applicants can check EWS DG Admission Result 2018-19 using their Registration ID & Date of Birth at the Link EWS/DG Result 2018-19 through the official website Edudel.nic.in. The complete list of successful candidates in the first, second and third round of computerized will be separately available through the links EWS/DG first Draw result 2018-19, EWS/DG second Draw result 2018-19 and EWS/DG third Draw result 2018-19, respectively.
Furthur, the successful candidates will also get an SMS on their registered mobile number which will contain the information of school allotted to them through the draw of lots for admission under EWS/DG Category.
For admission under EWS/DG category, All successful candidates have to approach the school allotted to them along with the required documents. The managers/principals will give admission to the students in Nursery, KG or Class 1; who have been selected for admission under EWS/DG category after verifying their documents. As stated earlier, the EWS/DG Admission Result 2018-19 first list will be out on 7th of March. EWS/DG Admission second list is expected to be declared in the third week of March. EWS/DG Admission first and the second list will have the name of selected students along with the schools allotted to them, also the name of the students on the waiting list. Last year, The total number of online applications received was 1,13,991 and the total number of EWS/DG category seats was 31,653. Hence, every applicant can’t be selected in the draw of lots.
How to Check EWS/DG Admission Result 2018-19
- Log in to the official website www.edudel.nic.in
- Click on the link EWS/DG Admissions
- Now, Click on the link EWS/DG Result 2018-19
- Enter Your Registration ID and Date of Birth, Click on the submit button
- If the applicant has been allotted the school, the screen will show the allotted school name.
- If the applicant has not been allotted any school, The screen will show a message that “It’s regretted that your name does not appear in the list of successful candidates selected in the computerized draw of lots.”
- If the applicant enters the wrong Registration ID or DOB then “No Record Found” will appear on the screen.
Selection procedure for EWS/DG category Admission
After receiving all the application forms, the first computerized draw will be drawn on March 7. Admission will be given to those children whose name will appear in the lottery draw.
The information of children whose names will be selected by lottery draw will also be sent to them by SMS. Applicants can also check this information by going to the official website of the Directorate of Education, www.edudel.nic.in. If an applicant receives such a message, then he has to appear with all the documents in the school allotted before April 15, otherwise, his seat will be canceled.
As per the direction from Directorate of Education, New Delhi; All School has to call the selected candidate informing about their selection and last date of admission. The list of required documents for EWS/DG Category admissions includes:-
- Print out of application form filled
- Two photographs of the child.
- Self Attested photocopy of proof of date of birth.
- Self Attested photocopy of Residential Proof.
- Self Attested photocopy of documentary proof for EWS or DG category, ‘whichever applicable.
- Aadhaar Card of the child.
All parents are informed that they should take the original copy of all the documents along with them as it will be required for verification. If any parent does not submit all necessary documents (mentioned above) then their admission will be canceled.
Note: Candidates selected under ‘DG Category’ are not required to submit income certificate. School cannot ask parents to make the documents attested by a Gazetted Officer. Self-attested documents are sufficient for submission.
Verification of documents by Schools
The school can check the information filled by the applicant through the online module. Therefore, parents are requested to give the same information to the school which they have filled in the online application form during registration. The school will combine the information given by you with the information that is filled online if there is any inequality in this information, then you can be denied admission. So parents are advised to be careful while presenting the documents to the school.
The school will also verify the genuineness of EWS/DG certificates issued by the department.
Income certificate issued by the Competent Authority declaring the total annual family income less than Rs. 1,00,0001- is a valid. document for, admission under EWS/DG category whether it is in the name of mother or father of the child.
Parents are not required to submit income certificate if they are submitting BPL/AAY/Food Security Card issued by Food and Civil Department, GNCT of Delhi.
Benefits of admission under EWS/DG Category
The education for children who have got admission under EWS/DG category will be absolutely free. The school cannot charge any tuition fee from such students. Further, schools have to provide the free books, school uniforms and writing material to each and every student admitted under EWS DG category.
