Filmmaker Karan Johar announced the arrival of his two twin children, a baby girl, and a baby boy, on the social media. Karan Johar took to social media for sharing the happiest moment of his life. Karan Johar twins are named as “Yash” and “Roohi” after his parent’s names, where Yash is Karan’s Father’s name, and Roohi rearranged from Karan’s Mother’s name Hiroo. The twins were born last month from Surrogacy in Masrani Hospital in Andheri, Mumbai.
The 44-year-old filmmaker, who is feeling on top of the world claims the feeling to be ‘ecstatic.’ Karan writes on his social media account, “I am ecstatic to share with you all the two most wonderful additions to my life, my children, and lifelines; Roohi and Yash. I feel enormously blessed to be a parent to these pieces of my heart who were welcome into this world with the help of the marvels of medical science. It was an emotional yet well thought out decision which I have taken after considering all the responsibilities and duties that come with being a parent. To arrive at this conclusion, I have prepared myself mentally, physically, emotionally and logistically to ensure that my children get all the unconditional love, care and attention from me and mine. I have submitted to the fact that my kids are my world and priority. My work, travels, and social commitments would have to take a back seat, and I am prepared. By the grace of God, I have the most caring and supportive mother who will be an integral part of the upbringing of her grandchildren and of course, friends who are family. I am eternally grateful to the surrogate who has fulfilled my lifelong dream and provided a warm, loving and nurturing environment to my children before bringing them into this world. She will always remain in my prayers. Finally, a big thank you to Dr. Jatin Shah for his guidance and support and for being a family member through this beautiful and exciting journey.”
Karan Johar has always been silent on his personal life and questions were raised on his sexuality. Karan stated his sexuality in a most suitable manner without raising any speculations on his memoir “The Unsuitable Boy” where he also desired to be parents to children. After Karan’s announcement, Bollywood has showered blessings on the newborn babies. Celebrities took to social media to congratulate Karan on the twins arrival.
