Indian Designer Anita Dongre has again been worthy to have to serve Dutch Queen Kate Middleton again after the Queen choose Anita Dongre’s pair of earrings crafted by Jet gems. Last week, designers from India had been posting their invites from the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh for a reception at the Buckingham Palace to mark the official start of the UK-India Year of Culture. The culture meet was to be characterized by the fashion show whose jury will comprise the Queen herself where Kate Middleton wore Anita Dongre work.
The Queen in the event sported a pair of earrings which was crafted by Anita Dongre’s Pinkcity. The earring was an uncut piece of diamond with pearl drop on it. It is the second time that Kate Middleton chooses Anita Dongre. Last Year when Kate Middleton arrived India, she wore a couture dress designed by Anita Dongre. Her dress got so popular that it was immediately sold with an impressive amount.
“I feel honored to have been part of such a beautiful evening that marks the beginning of the UK-India Year of Culture. I must add, I was ecstatic to see how stunning she looked in the handcrafted Pinkcity earrings we custom-designed for her, she said she loved them!” said Dongre.
Anita shares her meeting with the Queen on her social media account, “Was lovely meeting the Duchess of Cambridge last evening.
