Anushka Sharma’s Phillauri released today across 1200 screens pan India. After NH-10, Phillauri will be Anushka’s second film as a Producer. Phillauri, produced under Fox Star banner, stars Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma of ‘Life Of Pi’ fame. Phillauri has been getting positive reviews since its trailer was released. The music tracks of Phillauri is already trending into the chartbusters with songs like ‘Dum Dum’ and ‘Sahiba’ loved by the audience, and the same is expected with Phillauri box office collection.

Phillauri has been majorly shot in Phillaur, a small village in the Jalandhar district of Punjab, after which the movie has been named. The story revolves around a Ghost, played by Anushka who lives in a tree and stuck in a man’s life who was married to a tree where Anushka lived because he was a ‘Manglik.’ The story then unfolds into Anushka’s life, who has an incomplete love story. The story line is interesting, and people love it as per the reviews gave after the trailer released.

Looking at the Box Office Collection of Phillauri, the movie has an overall budget of 21 Crores out of which 12 Crores has already been recovered from music and satellite rights. Phillauri has powerful star cast like Anushka Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma is expected to open at a decent amount ranging from 5-7 Crore. The film is supposed to cover its investments within the first weekend itself.

It won’t be surprising if it becomes a Super Hit, which will make him a fourth in a row in the first quarter of the year along with Raees, Kaabil, Jolly LLB 2 and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Phillauri was involved in a little controversy which says that Cricketer Virat Kohli has invested his money in Phillauri. It apparently made the Producer Anushka Sharma angry who is also in the news with his love life with Virat Kohli. However, the power packed actress gave a fantastic reply shutting down everyone’s mouth. It also can help draw the audience into the theater.
