Eligibility Criteria for Registration for Entrance Test for Class 6, 7, 8, and 9
- Candidates who have studies continuously for at least two years (i.e. 2017-18 and 2018-19) in Delhi government / Government aided / MCD / NDMC / Delhi Cantonment Board schools.
- Candidate must have scored at least 60% marks in last passed class. However, if the result is in the form of grades, the applicant has to produce a certificate issued by Principal/Head of School converting grades into marks.
- The Candidate has to submit the certificate at the time of submission of registration form in order to obtain the admit card and appear for the entrance test.
Eligibility Criteria for Registration for Entrance Test for Class 11
Students who have studied consecutively for last two years (2017-18 and 2018-19) in Government/Govt. Aided Schools of DoE/NDMC/MCD/Delhi Cantonment Board School and have secured following marks in Class 10th are eligible for registration for Entrance Test for admission in the following streams:
Science Stream (Non RPVV Students)
Minimum percentage of marks required for admission in science stream –
Maths – 71% | Science – 71% | English -61% | Remaining two subjects – 41%
Commerce Stream (Non RPVV Students)
Minimum percentage of marks required for admission in commerce stream –
Maths – 61% | Social Science – 61% | English – 51% | Remaining two subjects – 41%
Arts Stream (Non RPVV Students)
Candidate must have scored at least 51% marks in each of five subjects in class 10th. If any candidate wants economics as the subject, he/she must have obtained 57% marks in aggregate in Class 10th.
NOTE: Admission in Class 11th will be given strictly on the basis of merit in the entrance test. If there is only one seat vacant and more than one eligible candidates are seeking admission to that seat then the preference will be given to the students with higher average marks. In case, both eligible students have equal marks, then a draw will be organized and the successful candidate will get the admission.

Applicants are required to fill all the details in the registration form and submit the hard copy of the registration form along with other required documents (listed below) at the concerned RPVVs. List of documents required to submit along with RPVV Registration Form is as follows:
- Passport size photo of the student.
- Aadhar Number/UID.
- Mark sheet of last two passed classes duly attested by Principal/Head of School.
- Certificate of proof of last two years continuous study in Government School / Government Aided School of DoE / NDMC / Delhi Cantonment Board.

Registration Fee: Along with the registration form, applicants have to pay Rs. 50 for admission in Class 11th as registration fee at the time of registration in the respective RPVVs.

Entrance Test / Screening Test
Registered candidates have to appear for entrance examination which will be conducted simultaneously in all the RPVVs. The date and time of examination will be the same for all 21 RPVVs.
The entrance test will contain both objective and descriptive type questions. The questions will be asked to test numerical, general knowledge, mental ability, and language comprehension. Additionally, For admission in Class 11th, candidates seeking admission in science stream have to solve questions from Maths and Science, candidates seeking admission in commerce stream have to solve questions from Maths and Social Science and candidates seeking admission in arts stream have to solve questions from Social Science and Hindi.
