Roadies Rising: Karan Kundra replaced by Nikhil Chinapa for slapping contestant!!

Roadies is one of the most popular reality show among the youth. The show has seen its popularity from its very first season. The winners and contestants of Roadies are also very popular with some doing great in movies and television, as well as in other fields. Every Year Roadies has something new to watch. This season of Roadies named as Roadies Rising orĀ Roadies x5 is also termed as the deadliest one. The show will be on air from 25th February. But before starting its journey this year, Roadies is again back in the news. But this time not for its tough task or contestants, but because of Karan Kundra. Yes, Karan Kundra who is one of the gang leaders of the Roadies Rising have quit the show due to a controversy.

roadies risingKaran Kundra is said to have left the show due a controversy which happened during the auditions of the show, where Karan Kundra went on slapping a contestant. Karan was questioning a contestant during the audition about whether he had slapped his sister or not. When the contestant said yes. Karan lost his temper and slapped the contestant. This created a very bad buzz among the audiences and some of them even went on protesting this situation. Seeing this negative response of audiences, which the makers thought would be bad for the TRP, they might have decided to replace Karan Kundra.

Karan Kundra has been replaced by Nikhil Chinapa, a former Roadies and MTV VJ and host to various MTV shows. Nikhil Chinapa is one of the most popular MTV VJ who is loved by audiences. When reached to Karan for his statement, He stated that due to prior commitments and schedule, he has to leave the show as he is having a shoot in Las Vegas. Although, according to the sources, the reason for Karan’s exit is stated to be the audition controversy.

This season of Roadies will be however interesting to watch, as the start of the show has created an excitement among the audience. Nikhil Chinapa will join the other judges which include Ranvijay Singha, Neha Dhupia, Cricketer Harbhajan Singh.
