Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad Supporters gives a shut down in Osmanabad, Maharastra which is the homeplace of Gaikwad in order show their protest for the Air India’s no-fly list. Air India which banned Shiv Sena MP for physically assaulting its 60-year-old staffer has included Gaikwad into its no-fly list which means Gaikwad will not ever be able to fly with the airline anymore. Shiv Sena protests against Air India turned violent during the bandh.
When the order for the MP’s ban came out, Shiv Sena members who were expected to support the Airline’s decision and take some action against the MP did exactly opposite. Shiv Sena workers called out for a ‘bandh’ in Osmanabad and created havoc around the city raising slogans against the airline. Shiv Saikins also went to burn out the effigy of the airline which shows the level of anger in them.
Gaikwad who had earlier said that he has no regrets for what he has done has disappeared and has refused to talk to anyone. Gaikwad conveyed his message through a chat in social media saying that top Shiv Sena members have barred him from speaking anything on the matter and will come out to speak only on Wednesday.
Gaikwad is even expected to bring this issue into the Parliament and still, he doesn’t think that he has done anything wrong or he should apologize.
