Sadhguru says, “This shower is a very rudimentary Bhuta Shuddhi. Because over 70% of your body is actually water. If you run water over it, a certain purification happens which is beyond cleaning the skin.”

  1. Light a lamp:

Having a cotton wick lit with an organic oil in your room can help you improve your sleep. It’s a yogic practice that allows you a restful and undisturbed good night’s sleep. Also, one can chant a mantra in conjunction with lighting a lamp. Chanting a mantra significantly reduces anxiety and tension and promotes relaxation and restfulness.  

  1. Never sleep with your head towards North:

The Earth and the human body each have their own magnetic fields. The magnetic field of your body interacts with that of the earth while you sleep with your head towards north. This might cause your blood pressure to fluctuate, which can lead to cardiac problems. It also increases mental stress levels as sleeping with your head pointing north increases blood flow towards the brain. And because there is too much blood rushing to the brain, it might potentially induce haemorrhage.
