Tamilnadu Election Voting on May 16, Tough competition between DMDK and AIADMK

In 2011, AIADMK Chief J. Jayalalithaa came to power by winning 150 seats out of 234 in the assembly election. She remained in the headlines many times in the past five years, even jailed and forced to give up the CM’s chair. After release from prison, she once again took charge of Tamilnadu’s Chief Minister.

In last assembly election, DMDK got only 23 seats. This year it is being believed that DMDK can give a tough competition to Jayalalithaa’s AIADMK. Following the success in Lok Sabha election, BJP is also looking for an excellent opportunity in Tamilnadu.
