BJP Leader Hriday Narayan Dikshit was chosen as the 17th Speaker of Uttar Pradesh assembly. On the occasion of Hriday Narayan Dikshit on becoming the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Speaker, Uttar Pradesh Chief minister Yogi Adityanath addresses the house for the first time after bring elected as the CM of UP.
Yogi Adityanath appealed the opposition to forget all grudges against each other and function unitedly in the state for the betterment of the peoples. “The government and the opposition should work together to live up to the expectations of the people. Keeping aside the grudges, we should think about 22 crore people who have voted us to power. We should work together to fulfill the promises of people,” Yogi Adityanath said.
‘During the elections campaign the parties had hit out at each other, but I can assure that there will be no discrimination against the opposition parties in the House,’ Yogi said. Yogi highlighted the main reason the people has elected them is for the development of the state and for the better life for them.
Meanwhile, he also addressed Hriday Narayan’s selection as a speaker who was chosen unanimously by the assembly. Yogi said that Hriday Narayan is the perfect person chosen for the role.
