Telecom operator Vodafone India on Friday has announced free incoming call while roaming nationally for its customers. The offer of free incoming call while roaming will start from Diwali.
With the entrance of Reliance Jio in the telecom sector, a tariff war has begun among all the telecom operators. There is a huge competition among the telecom operators to attract more and more customers.
Reliance Jio has offered free internet and calling to their customers while on roaming.
Director-Commercial, Sandeep Kataria of Vodafone India has said in his statement, all Indian customers of Vodafone, travelling anywhere in the country can continue their conversation with any tension.
Sandeep Kataria has further said, earlier outgoing charges, while roaming has already been decreased.
Kataria in his statement has added, on this festival season, Vodafone is offering their 200 million plus customers in India free roaming tariffs. He has said that their customers will be connected with their loved one without worrying about roaming tariffs.
Reliance Jio is cleared of all charges, Incumbent players such as Airtel, Vodafone, and others have no choice, but to lower their tariff rate to keep their customers. If the other telecom operator will not reduce their tariff rates than they will end up losing their customers.
Earlier airtel has also announced numerous attractive internet pack offers with affordable international roaming packs with unlimited calling.
Since June 15, 2015 BSNL had offered free incoming calls on national roaming.
Earlier Vodafone India has launched new offers to attract customers. Vodafone had launched offer for the customers who has not used Vodafone connection from past six months but has bought new 4G handset, can avail the benefit of 10GB data at the cost of 1GB for three months.
This offer is available for those areas where Telecom operator Vodafone India has its own 3G and 4G services. The customers can avail this offer on both prepaid and postpaid connection till December 31, 2016.
Now most of the telecom operators are providing free incoming call tariff during roaming.
We also believe that Airtel, Vodafone, and others will also follow this in coming days.
